Author and canine expert Colin Tennant began his career in canine obedience training at the Asoka Training School in Manchester, England, and later founded the London Dog Training Group. He has trained animals for TV shows and has appeared on the BBC and other television networks, offering pet-training advice. He is Chairman of the Canine and Feline Bahaviour Association based in Great Britain, Principal of The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training, and senior behavior practitioner at the Canine and Feline Behaviour Centre in Hertfordshire, England.
