The Great Easter Egg Hunt has arrived in Yonder Creek, and Ohno and his friends are ready for a springtime adventure filled with colorful eggs, blooming flowers, laughter, and one very special prize-the mysterious Golden Egg!

Ready the raccoon is determined to find it. He races from tree to tree, bush to bush, certain the Golden Egg is just around the corner. Figure has a system for searching the meadow, Moxie discovers that being small has some big advantages, and kindhearted Pal is always willing to let someone else have a turn.

Ohno is searching too-but things aren't going quite as well. While everyone else's baskets begin filling with colorful Easter eggs, Ohno manages to find only two.

Then he notices something he wasn't looking for.

Nearby, a very little Yonder Creek child is holding a completely empty Easter basket. While everyone else continues searching for eggs, Ohno quietly makes a choice that changes the Easter Egg Hunt for someone else-and perhaps for himself, too.

But the hunt isn't over yet! There's still a Golden Egg hidden somewhere in the meadow, and Ready hasn't given up.
