Merle Müller-Hansen examines agriculture and food systems in the context of digital and sustainability transitions. She specialises in urban food environments through mixed-methods approaches at the intersection of digitalisation, sustainability, health, and social justice. She is a research associate at the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE) and the Chair of Social and Cultural Geography at Heidelberg University, Germany. The research presented in this book was undertaken primarily at the Centre for Climate Resilience, University of Augsburg.
