Peter N. Jordan earned a PhD in Physiology, Biophysics, and Systems Biology from Cornell University, and a PhD in Studies in Religion from the University of Queensland. A scholar of religion and modernity, he is the author of Naturalism in the Christian Imagination (2022), and has published articles in The Journal of Religion, Journal of the American Academy of Religion, Modern Theology, Zygon, and other leading journals. He is currently Research Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion in the Faculty of Theology, University of Oxford, Director of Academic Projects at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford, and Research Fellow and Project Consultant at Scholarship and Christianity in Oxford (SCIO). He is a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion, and of the Royal Historical Society.
