My name is Ronald Robert Morrow.I was born on August 28, 1946, to Nathaniel and Leila Morrow in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at Bridgeport Hospital.I graduated from McKinley Grammar School in 1960 and Warren Harding High School in 1965.In 1966, I was drafted into the United States Marine Corps and served thirteen months in Vietnam attached to an Artillery Battalion. I was honorably discharged in March 1968.Throughout my life, I have experienced triumphs, setbacks, recovery, redemption, and spiritual awakening. Poetry became a way for me to reflect on those experiences, preserve my thoughts, and share lessons learned along the journey. The poems in this collection are personal reflections on faith, addiction, recovery, love, loss, hope, humanity, and the search for meaning. They represent moments in time, observations of life, and the spiritual insights that emerged from my experiences.I do not consider myself merely a poet. I consider myself a stenographer of the thoughts, emotions, and inspirations that have passed through my life and spirit.Welcome to my journey.
