Craig Hurd-McKenney is a Xeric grant?awarded and Ignatz Award?nominated comic book writer based in Seattle, Washington, where he lives with his husband and four rescue dogs. Since launching his career in 2000, his work has carved a distinct niche in horror, sci-fi, and Victorian-inspired storytelling?often blending genre elements with human emotion. His books include Some Strange Disturbances, The Brontës: Infernal Angria, and Boris Karloff's Gold Key Mysteries. Craig's upcoming titles include the graphic novel Station Grand (Oni Press), Curse of Dark Shadows (Hermes Press), and now Best Friend Show from Nakama Press, further expanding his imaginative, richly textured narratives.

Melisa is a Chinese American illustrator based in the SF Bay Area with a passion for video games and petting dogs. Because of her interest in illustration and comics at a very young age, she became known as "the artist friend" throughout her early school life. She attended Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design. When she isn't drawing, Melisa can be found looking at pictures of tasty food on the internet and collecting shiny rocks.

Jok was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in the seventies and has been working as a comic book artist since 1993. His work's been published in the USA (Image, Massive, Heavy Metal, Scholastic, Capstone, Bad Bug, Alien Books, Mad Cave and Deadsky), England (Markosia, David Lloyd¿s Aces Weekly), Italy, France (Mosquito, Delcourt), Spain, Germany (Splitter), Denmark, Cyprus, Canada, China, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. He runs a studio along with his comrades in arms since 2001, splitting his time amongst several endeavors, including work for hire projects, creator owned books, attending conventions all over the world and not missing a match of his weekly soccer with friends and colleagues.
