George Madison Potts, commonly known as Matt, has been an avid outdoorsman since childhood, exploring wilderness areas through hiking, fly fishing, hunting, and bow hunting. For several years, he professionally outfitted and guided backpacking expeditions in the Colorado and Wyoming mountains, helping men and women enjoy the outdoors. 

Matt also had a long and successful career as a self-employed CPA, bringing a unique perspective on the stresses and challenges of modern life. He lives in the Denver, Colorado suburbs with his wife, Erin, and together they have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
