Being my own boss was a long-held dream of mine. But fear, doubt, and imposter syndrome reared their ugly heads and stopped me.After 30 years as an employee, toxic workplaces, micromanagers, horrendous commutes, and losing a friend who took their own life, I finally took the plunge to follow my dream.Above & Beyond VA was launched in 2020 initially as a side gig. I'm now a full-time business owner, supporting neurodivergent creatives and coaches with specialist and tailored admin and content marketing services.The freedom I longed for is what I also want for my clients. I want to give them back the time and space to lean into their strengths, focus on their zone of genius, and grow a business they love working on.I live in Essex with my family and cat. When I'm not working, I sing in a choir, go to gigs, and tackle challenging sudoku puzzles.
