The Author aims to demonstrate that Revelation is not merely an end-time prophecy but a call to genuine obedience and worship of God, free from human perversions. He specifies that the book's visions follow a specific order: the seals, the trumpets, the bowls of judgment, the Millennium, the last resurrection, and the renewal of all things at the end. The Author is very critical of mainstream beliefs, including the Trinity, the belief in the immortal soul, and Sunday worship, calling them Babylonian compromises.
After reading this book, I was convinced that the Author offered a new and unprecedented interpretation of Revelation. His method is simple, logical, and utterly devoted to Scripture. It is also interesting, although I did not agree with all his conclusions.
I liked the way he related each symbol and each prophecy to a larger theme, such as obedience, worship, and God's justice. Meanwhile, his radical dismissal of commonly held teachings in Christianity might be a hard pill to swallow for a typical reader, particularly those belonging to conservative churches.
