Golden Boy is James Gregory Randall's life story, told through the character of Antony. It must be true, because it could not have been invented. It is his most important book, because it is personal and thus believable, and is also his most appealing, because the main character is lovable.
Golden Boy is about Grace unlimited, and a miraculous life that otherwise should never have made it this far. Antony's life reveals that the sins of fathers and mothers have a terrible effect, but do not have to be propagated.
Grace is personified in Eema Mother God, whose loving tenacity would not let Antony go. For his part, Antony was desperate to be held. Each has been faithful to the other and each blesses the other. By telling his story, James Gregory Randall blesses the reader.
