Gregory Fremont-Barnes is a senior lecturer in war studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He earned his doctorate in modern history from the University of Oxford and has authored or edited more than twenty-five books on military and naval history. With extensive experience working at the Afghan National Army Academy and international teaching on counterinsurgency, Fremont-Barnes combines academic expertise with practical field experience, making him a leading authority on warfare. He lives in London.
