Laura Gray Bridges holds a BFA in Drawing & Painting from the University of North Texas, with a dual minor in English and Elementary Education. She's been a business and magazine writer of more than 25 years, has been published in multiple short story collections, and is the author of The Keepers, a modern-day fairytale for middle school readers (available on Amazon.) She married Don E. Bridges and moved from Atlanta to the North Georgia Mountains nineteen years ago. They have five children, nine grandchildren, and two dogs. Gray enjoys reading, making art, volunteering, traveling, and going for long walks in the forest surrounding her home. She's available to speak and do workshops on writing for both adults and children. After her middle son's death from Fentanyl, she has become an advocate for drug awareness.
