Carly Kaye is the friend her close circle goes to for historical romance or period dramas because she treats them like Pokémon ("gotta catch 'em all!"). A former English teacher, reader of The Classics, and Amy March Defender, she has spent much of her life consuming or writing stories. A Lady of Means is her debut, a spicy and heartfelt redemption arc for an unlikeable female character who sets outside her need for revenge due to the love of one sturdy soldier and her biggest champions. It is also the launch of a new historical romance series and an ambitious indie author and single mom. When not writing or co-parenting, Carly freelances as a Fiction Copy Editor and Travel Advisor, drinks reheated coffee, makes niche literary jokes, solo travels to places from her favorite stories, and chronicles everything in between on her social media channels.
