Fresh off a breakup from her boyfriend of seven years, Alicia Winthrop finds herself alone, directionless, and without a future in a dead-end town on the outskirts of Beaver, Illinois. Salvation comes in the form of a billboard for the biggest regional pro wrestling promotion, Queens of War. From her very first show, Alicia is hooked. In search of purpose and craving to recapture her former glory as a collegiate hockey star, Alicia chases a new dream: become a pro wrestler and once again raise a championship.

Training under the long-time veteran Sabrina Irons, Alicia fights, struggles, and suffers for a chance to earn a spot on the Queens of War roster. From the opening bell, Alicia learns that reaching her dream takes more than hard work, grit, and a killer right hook. It will come at a cost steeper than blood, and it might be a price much higher than she's willing to pay.
