JOWITA BYDLOWSKA was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to Canada as a teenager. She is the author of the novels Possessed, GUY, and MONSTER, and the best-selling memoir Drunk Mom. She's also a prolific short-story writer, journalist, and writing instructor. Her work has appeared in various publications, including Salon and the Huffington Post. She lives in Toronto with her son.
