Allison Gunn is a professional researcher, writer, and educator. With an M.A. in History and an M.L.I.S from the University of Maryland, she is now a graduate student at Shepherd University in Appalachian Studies with a focus on folklore. Her debut novel, NOWHERE, an Appalachian horror tale, was released via Atria in March 2025. She resides in wonderfully weird West Virginia with her children, both human and fuzzy. Writing is the one thing keeping her even remotely sane.
