Narsia, profesora de teatro de 58 años, acude con su exmarido al llamado de su hijo menor. Es febrero del año 2000. El joven les confiesa a sus padres que una semana atrás asesinó a su novia. Con el alma fracturada, Narsia retoma su vida en su ciudad natal, en Sinaloa. Nueve años después conoce a Arsenio, un periodista extraviado. With a fractured soul, Narsia returns to her hometown in Sinaloa. Nine years later, she meets Arsenio, a lost journalist. The mother of Arsenio's daughter, with whom he had a hostile relationship after their separation, was murdered in a shooting. Since then, he has been struggling with fatherhood and searching for replacements for love. Despite their differences, a true friendship quickly develops between Narsia and Arsenio. The unique wisdom of the theater teacher becomes an unexpected beacon for Arsenio. However, Narsia suffers from a severe heart condition. Although treatable through surgery, she does not want to mark another anniversary of her son's death on this earth.
