Phillipians 4:8 Expounded -
In a world that constantly shifts and sways, where the foundation seems uncertain, I have found refuge and truth in the timeless words of Scripture. This book, P48X, was born from a deep well within me-an earnest journey through the pages of God's Word, history, and personal revelation. As I walked through my own valleys and stood on mountaintops, it became clear that the road to transformation is paved with understanding, wisdom, and the unshakable promises of God.
The title P48X is rooted in Philippians 4:8, a verse that calls believers to focus their thoughts on what is truly worthy of attention. As it says in the Amplified Bible:
"Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God's word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]."
This verse became the foundation for the structure of the book. Each chapter in P48X is dedicated to exploring the virtues that Paul exhorted us to meditate on... Purity, Truth, Praiseworthiness, Wholesomeness, Excellence, being Admirable, Peace, Honor, and Lovely things... and how they manifest in the lives of those who walked with God throughout the scriptures.
