Kenrad's cheeks reddened under his tan but his voice was calm. "I'm sorry, Varna. My path is not always clear?even with Narne's Song to guide me. In the prophecy of the Thunder Lord details are sorely lacking."
Varna leaned back and eyed the young mage. "What about your revenge? As I recall, you were determined to have it."
