Dr A Mark Davies is a Consultant radiologist at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham since 1984. Previously consultant radiologist at the Birmingham General, Birmingham Accident and Selly Oak Hospitals. Founding member and former Secretary of the British Society Skeletal Radiologists, founding member, first Secretary and former President European Society of Skeletal Radiology, former Secretary and President of the International Skeletal Society. Examiner Final Fellowship Examination Royal College of Radiologists for 9 years and external examiner in Hong Kong and Singapore. Iyengar MS(Orth), DNB(Orth), MRCS(Edn), MCh(Orth)(Liv), FRCS(Tr& Orth), FFSTEd, FAcadMEd (AoME) works as a Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at the Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust with special interest in Orthopaedic Trauma. He has been conferred the title of Honorary Professor at Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) for his contribution to global teaching, training in Medical Education and Research Scholarship. He has a prominent Global Research Profile; being on the list that represents the top 2% of Scientists in Orthopaedic Surgery in the world released by Stanford University (USA) based on several citation metrics included in Scopus author profiles (2022). He has a strong publication portfolio being an Author of 150+ Indexed, Peer-Reviewed articles & Book Chapters.
