A peaceful South Sea diving cruise with the extra crew of Georgia and Beth, the shapely veterinary professors who are continuing their studies of Jasper, Harry's very large, mystical cat and his mysterious ways. Also aboard are his very good friends, Andy the Australian PM, his lady Lara, and the effervescent Charlie, his PPS.
With lazy days spent eating, drinking, playing sexy games, and diving in the glorious gin-clear waters of the South Pacific, what could possibly go wrong!
Until Andy's diving is interrupted by a cry for assistance from the President of Bougainville, who has a sudden and uninvited infestation of militant Chinese, in the form of a diplomatic negotiating team in his office and a naval assault ship parked in his finest harbour. Trying to strike a balance between keeping Australia neutral, while standing up for the underdog, becomes a major challenge for Harry and his mismatched crew.
International relations are strained to breaking point when Harry manages to escalate tensions... as usual, gets shot... as usual, and goes toe-to-toe with a Chinese captain who finally finds out he's arrested the wrong person.
Despite Harry's best talk-fest endeavours, heavy-duty carnage becomes the order of the day, when some most unlikely friends are called upon to help reverse all that which did go horribly wrong!
