Christianism started with the work of 12 apostles designated by Jesus Christ to spread His message throughout the world.

Their work was supported by the disciples and authentic followers of Christ and the first Fathers of the Church who were all persecuted because the Holy Spirit was burning through their hearts.

After them, the church was divided and infiltrated by Satan.

Nowadays, Christianism has many branches, all of them with their own structure and core beliefs.

According to the encyclopedia Brittanica (Encyclopedia of world religions, 2008), Christianity can be divided into six main groups: the Church of the East, Oriental Orthodoxy, Eastern Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Protestantism, and Restorationism.

Unfortunately, Some of those branches have dried or are drying, and are not producing any fruits because the Holy Spirit is absent from their core and our dark world has prevailed over their leaders.

As a result, our world is more and more secular, and atheist.

And faith in God is diminishing among many age groups, and societies.

The consequences of this dark scenario, are that notwithstanding of what branch of Christianity we may belong, if we do not become true followers of Christ by denying ourselves and carrying our crosses to follow Him, we will not be able to become free from the grasp of this dark world.

The grace of God that saves, is like a weak flame that is still burning in those branches of Christianity that are still alive, and even with their heroic resistance and faithfulness to Jesus and His teachings, our salvation, atonement and redemption is an individual initiative that is directly related to a personal purification and work towards our sanctity, that is not going to be acquired through rules or regulations or being given to us by any institution or spiritual leader but only through the spiritual introspection within every human heart, were Christ dwells permanently.

Once the grace of God is received as a gift, the truth of the Holy Spirit will dwell in the heart, and the smallest details, and best ways to fulfill the mission that God has for every man and woman will unfold according to His perfect will.

Then, if this divine development is successful, and regardless of what branch of Christianity they may belong, the true and authentic followers of Christ will always shine with their own light, leading with their life examples, their families, and communities to the house of our Father in heaven.
