Wind digits is set during the 1860s just before Civil War was initiated in the southern states against the states in the north. States rights, and the institution of slavery against the Federal Government who is trying to make the south bend the knee to federal laws that are somewhat risky to enforce. From start to finish this book contains different events that could be construed as horrific, daring feats of heroism, inevitable loss of life, Indian, and white man. Plans made, fell through.
