Este libro, el quinto de la serie Jazz en
Dominicana: Las Entrevistas (2019, 2020,
2021, 2022 y ahora 2023), contiene 9
conversaciones sostenidas con músicos
y productores en el año 2023. Las
preguntas fueron articuladas con un
esquema simple y orgánico, que logró
llevar a respuestas concretas, resaltando
la diversidad de criterios y dando
particularidad a cada diálogo; estos,
una vez más, abren una ventana que
permite asomarse a la escena jazzística
actual de República Dominicana. El
libro se publica en español e inglés, y
está integrado con Códigos QR (Quick
Response), que los lectores pueden
escanear y escuchar la música de cada
músico entrevistado.
This book, the fifth in the Jazz en
Dominicana: The Interviews series
(2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and now 2023),
contains 9 conversations held with
musicians and festival producers in
the year 2023. The questions were
articulated with a simple and organic
scheme, which managed to lead
to concrete answers, bringing out
the diversity of criteria and giving
particularity to each dialogue; these,
once again, open a window that allows
a look into the current jazz scene of
the Dominican Republic. The book is
published in Spanish and English, and
