WHAT IS THIS COLLECTION OF NOTES ABOUT?

As a child, one looked forward to being an adult. Then, suddenly, you have to make choices that will affect the quality of your life, even your survival, for the next few decades. And you must take responsibility not only for your own life but for the health and well-being of other people you care for.

The material in this collection follows the sometimes confused process of one who thought it was his duty to find his own path as an adult.

WHO IS THE WRITER?

Born on 29 June 1971 in Pretoria, in the Republic of South Africa.

Went to South Korea in June 1996 to work as an English teacher.

Worked in Johannesburg for six months in 1998.

Departed for Kaohsiung, in southern Taiwan, in January 1999.
