God's methods of manifesting Himself in the world are often mysterious. Apart from His divine presence, we can do nothing. The believer must be still and know He is God (Psalms 46:10) and desires intimacy with His creation. This level of intimacy requires discipline in seeking daily His presence and giving unto Him the details of your life. You will not have anything to lose but everything to gain when you learn to sit in God's presence and breathe in His peace that will give you REST when you become strained and discouraged with the cares of life. As you spend time and linger quietly in His divine presence, He will reveal to you your purpose. Religion can become habitual. But a relationship with the Holy presence of God will create an intimacy of compassion, empathy, and love that is spontaneous and much needed in the world today.
