Linda C. Wright grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Melbourne, Florida but she will always be a buckeye at heart. Linda always had a story in her head and as a child she loved to write plays for the neighborhood kids to perform for anyone who would watch. Her favorite photo is of her fourth-grade class dressed in paper grocery bags performing the end of year play she created. To this day, no one is quite sure whether they were playing the parts of peanuts or potatoes.Before becoming a full-time writer, Linda worked hard at being a normal adult by working in finance at a Fortune 500 company. She is an optimist at heart and likes to find fun in everything she does. Linda loves her cockapoo, Pepper, traveling and yoga, which helps keep her busy schedule running smoothly.Linda has written a memoir, "A Bittersweet Goodnight" and her stories have appeared in seven Chicken Soup for the Soul titles.
