"The Reading Pig Goes to the Teddy Bear Clinic" is the latest adventure of our fictitious friend; Read Daily. In this tale, he is brought along to the hospital to join the other 'comfort' toys brought along to the clinic.
Beth Francis is a Health Professional with experience in teaching and program management. Beth currently serves as the Nursing / Allied Health Program Manager for the Pima County Joint Technical Education District ( JTED ). Beth is the JTED liaison to the Tucson Medical Center in conjunction with their yearly community event for children - The Teddy Bear Clinic. Beth collaborated on this story with a band of her program students. In this work, they brought the Teddy Bear Clinic to life along with participation from The Reading Pig - Read Daily.
