The first real test for Nathanial and friends looms with the expectant attack on the Outpost by Sabien and the DMP, but what of Chris, Grey and Dakota and the part they play? Will they tip the balance in Professor Redmond's favour or will Nathanial and those left from phase two make it to the new mysterious city of Zurich? In the city, members of the council deal their trump card and it's not only the twelve they have in their crosshairs. Stirring in the background the shadowy figure of Madam starts to meddle on both sides of the equation while the true nature of Professor Redmond's aspirations are uncovered. Book III, the players reveal their hands and the noose around the necks of the surviving twelve tightens. Adjustment is where true allegiances emerge, and a mole is uncovered playing their part in steering Nathanial and all to a fate unknown.
