After spending 10 years in Paris working in advertising, André Marois took a one-way ticket to Montreal not knowing if he would like it. Inspiration struck with his immigration, and he began writing dark short stories set in his new neighborhood, Plateau Mont-Royal. His first book, Accidents de parcours, was released in 1999. Today, André still lives in Quebec and has published around sixty books for adults, teenagers, and children.
