María Blanco is Associate Professor of Economic History and Institutions at San Pablo-CEU University and Associate Professor at CEU-ILEAD (Institute for Leadership, Ethics and Advanced Development), Spain. She is deputy editor of the European Journal of Political Economy Market Processes. She has taught at the Universidad Panamericana and Universidad del Valle de México, in Mexico City, Mexico. She writes for business newspapers and regularly participates in the media as an economic analyst. She has published three books on liberal thought, feminism and the rule of law. Alberto Mingardi is Professor of the history of political thought at IULM University in Milan, Italy. He is also Director General of the Italian free-market think tank, Istituto Bruno Leoni.
