Lord Jesus, I Want to See... is a weekly prayer book to help children and families begin their week right, and encourages them to work on concepts of friendship, faith, love, generosity, forgiveness, and thankfulness. Today's youth are in desperate need of character building and moral guidance; this is key in creating good citizens and a healthy society for the next generation. Unfortunately, due to political correctness and other social trends, moral character and wholesome virtues have taken a back seat to superficial pursuits -- appearance, charm, glamour, fame, social status, and possessions. We must demand and encourage the children of this great nation and its future generations to work on and acquire the qualities and moral characteristics that help them achieve well-being and happiness. Lord Jesus, I Want to See... recognizes that gone are the days that we can demand and require our children to memorize and recite all the traditional prayers. After twenty plus years of service to God's Children, in parishes and seminary, the reflections I share above have culminated in a new format of praying and prayer. The lessons shared are rooted in Holy Scriptures, daily topics, personal experiences, character-building, and practical spiritual exercises.
