Book summaryIn the space of a little more than ten years, the Boko Haram terrorist movement has managed to position itself as one of the most violent, if not the most violent, of the criminal organizations with an Islamist resonance on the African continent, in its sub-Saharan part. Acting mainly in the Lake Chad Basin region, an area understood as a set of spaces conducive to the development of terrorism and other types of conflict, Boko Haram has moved from a national configuration in Nigeria to a transnational and international reconfiguration, and is thus carrying out terrorist acts in Cameroon, Chad and Niger. In fact, in its transnational mobilizations, the Jama'attu Ahli Sunna Lidda Waati Wal Jihad alias Boko Haram, is stirring up a constant stream of asymmetrical and criminal activities of symbolic, polemical, security and strategic bills that negatively impact the stability of the main states of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).
