This is not a children's book, but for all ages. It is a collection of wisdoms which I personally received from my Zen teacher, and by reading the wise words of philosophers during the span of my life. I have left it up to a little cat to discover some of them for you, which also makes for relaxed reading and not scholarly. I also give some animals a voice, as they need to be heard. The little cat is a symbolic representation of our inner longings to know and find wisdom. The absurdities, injustices and wars, leave us stunned but we must also see the beauty and magic of our world. The nature which never tires of giving us food, and the animals who give us so much companionship, not forgetting the people who give us friendship and love. Gerda Chapuis
