Dianne H. Lundy grew up in the piney hills of north Louisiana. After graduating from high school as an honor student, she went on to college, earning a B. S. degree from Harding University in Arkansas. She then devoted her life to teaching for thirty-three years, earning two additional graduate degrees in education and being named to "Who's Who Among American Teachers" five times. She met her husband, Richard, on the radio while carpooling to work with a ham radio operator. They married and had one son, who is now married with three young daughters. After retiring, she now devotes her time to writing, teaching English online through the World English Institute, and spending time with her granddaughters. She also enjoys cooking and growing flowers outdoors in the summer.
