From my heart to yours, The purpose of this book is to encourage and support others during a time of struggle, what we are calling a Journey. The Journey Principles is a combination of the lessons I learned and applied through the grace of God. This workbook will inspire you to start your Journey, not to give up or give in, but to persevere! It is our hope that you will use our time together wisely. If you are in the middle of a struggle, or have been through challenging times in your life, then this resource is for you! The truth behind beginning your Journey is knowing that every choice, decision, action, and reaction has a purpose. You have a purpose. If you are willing to learn and grow, your purpose will become clearer with each new step you take. Consider that the Father wants the best for you. Ask yourself these questions: What is it that God has for you? What must you sacrifice? Who must you become? What must you do? How must you grow? In this book, each chapter ends with a section for reflective notes where you can write down your growth for the week. These are the realizations that will help you plan your next steps. It is important that you set goals on your Journey and complete this part of the weekly work. Set your goals, make them measurable. Give your goals as much detail as you can, tell yourself the steps you need to get there, and put a timetable on them. I encourage you to sit down and pray. As your brother in faith - I pray for your success. To help you on your Journey, I am giving you 10 Principle Prayers for you to access your blessing through purposeful prayer. And brothers and sisters, do not mumble, pour your heart out! Give your fears and struggles over to the Father! I know He wants to hear from you. God the Father is seeking to embrace you. Amen! Your Journey is more important to me than my Journey. My greatest hope by sharing my Journey with you is that you will see how utterly important it is to fulfill yours. Please don't let pain and sacrifice go by the wayside, please heed my counsel and seek to start, work on, and improve your Journey with renewed vigor and excitement. As always, you can do it, you will do it, and you will change other people's lives because you chose to do it. I hope these principles will help you make a resolute decision to move forward by letting go of past mistakes and pushing towards your future. Maybe one day soon we will meet, and you can share how your Journey impacted someone else's life. You are sustained by the prayers of those who blazed a trail before you and the JP Team who supports your new Journey. As always, it's your Journey, and God's Principles!
