Albert P.C. Chan is an Associate Head and Professor in the Department of Building and Real Estate of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an Adjunct Professor of the Queensland University of Technology, the University of South Australia and Bond University in Australia; and the Huaqiao University of the PRC. He had 5 years hands-on experience in the field of construction management before changing to an academic career in 1987. He is a Chartered Builder, Engineer, Project Manager and Surveyor by profession. He was also a Founding Director of the Construction Industry Institute, Hong Kong, which is a joint research institution developed by the industry and the academia.
Esther Cheung is a Programme Manager in the subject area of Housing and Built Environment at the College of Humanities and Law, HKU SPACE. She has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Tutor for Construction Management at the Department of Building and Real Estate, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her PhD was completed from the School of Built Environment, Queensland University of Technology, Australia looking at developing a best practice framework for implementing Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Hong Kong. She alsohas an MPhil degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a BEng (Hons) degree in Environmental Engineering from The University of Nottingham in England. |
