Tracey Winter Glover, JD, is a filmmaker, author, and founder of Sweet Peeps, a sanctuary for chickens rescued from the meat industry. A former attorney in Washington, DC, she left legal practice to dedicate her life to animal protection, storytelling, and exploring humanity's relationship with the natural world. She is the author of Lotus of the Heart as well as the children's books Chickens Are Animals Too!: Fannie Goes to Washington and The Great Adventures of Blueberry and Marmalade. Across her writing, films, and sanctuary work, she explores critical issues relating to animal welfare and moral standing, ethical consumption, and the ways in which human beings relate to and impact the natural world.
