John has a B.A. from Tennessee Temple University, a Master of Theology (Th. M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Master's in Counseling (M.A.) from Amberton University, and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from California Coast University. John was a licensed therapist in the state of Texas from 1995-2020. John established Profile Dynamics in the early 1980s to develop and promote the temperament model of behavior for use in business and counseling. He has been a management consultant since 1984 and has worked with various companies, giving seminars for training managers and salespeople. John has conducted seminars in churches to help church counselors help others. John has also trained other therapists in the use of the temperament model in counseling. John has been interviewed on the radio and featured numerous times on COPE, a national cable TV talk show. John and Phillip Moss formed Temperament Dynamics, LLC in 2017 to further develop, expand, and promote the temperament model of behavior.
